Distinction

So 10 eggs produced 8 mature enough for ICSI that have all survived the night. So we are looking at a distinction (80%) so far. Only 4 more nights of natures ‘survival of the fittest’ to see if we have one worth implanting.

Today I am sore and it’s all a bit messy. I have started my course of progesterone via 2 pessaries to be inserted every 8 hours. As in, wake up in the night or schedule a strategic trip to the bathroom at work if need be. These little white balls slowly leek a precise dosage of hormone that will ensure my lining stays nice and thick and doesn’t drop away in an early period. This will ensure there is a nice cosy lining for implantation on Sunday (dependant on at least 1 survivor!).
This all makes me more amazed at the workings or mother nature, and intrigued by how it’s possible without accurately timed medical drugs and intervention!
