Today i have had several blood tests and then a scan to assess how I am as a hen. After having a load of trouble finding my unattached ovary (it was hiding behind my belly button) and the standard 3 additional people invited into the room to see this interesting medical marvel, it was located. They scan and count how many ‘follicle’s’ (undeveloped eggs) I have over 10mm as a way of tracking how ready I am for harvest.

This is the day that all the daily jabs have been for. All those extra hormones are aimed at producing a bunch of good size follicle’s that can be taken out for their test tube date with destiny.

I had a few good ones on both sides. As such I have another appointment in Hamilton at the FA clinic tomorrow.
